Monza (Italy),

The Red Bulls locked out the front row Saturday with World Champion Sebastian Vettel in pole for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza here.

German driver Vettel clocked 1:23.755 on the legendary circuit to come out on top, 0.283 seconds ahead of teammate Mark Webber. Nico Hulkenberg in the Sauber was the surprise package and will start third in Sunday's race.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa outpaced teammate Spaniard Fernando Alonso and will start fourth, a place ahead of Alonso.

Nico Rosberg's car was the only Mercedes in Q3 and will start seventh as teammate Lewis Hamilton failed to enter the final qualifying session after achieving four consecutive pole positions in the last four races.

The two McLaren's of Sergio Perez and former World Champion Jenson Button will start eighth and ninth, respectively, while Toro Rosso's Jean Eric-Verge will start 10th, ahead of former World Champion Kimi Raikkonen.

This is the final European race of the season.
