Two policemen injured in Kashmir blast

Srinagar: Two policemen were injured after in a grenade attack at a police station in north Kashmir's Baramulla district Sunday evening, police said.

A senior police officer said separatist guerrillas tossed a grenade at Amargrah police station on the outskirts of Sopore town, 54 km from here. "Two policemen were hurt in the blast. They were taken to a hospital," the officer said.

He said the area around the police station was cordoned off and searches were being conducted. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
