Baghdad, Aug 31
At least 12 people were killed and 15 injured as two bombs struck an Iraqi town Friday, police said.
The incident occurred when a roadside bomb went off in Tuz Khurmatu, some 170 km north of Baghdad. It was followed by a booby-trapped explosion as people rushed to the scene, reported Xinhua citing a police source.
The blasts killed eight Kurds, two Turkmans and two Arabs, while wounded others in the ethnically mixed town, the source added.
