Corinthians are the most valuable Brazilian football club with a market worth of $468 million, according to new data.
A report released by Brazilian consultancy firm BDO Friday rated Brazil's top 23 clubs at $2.6 billion, reports Xinhua.
Flamengo were ranked second at $364 million and Sao Paulo third at $361 million.
According to BDO, the study analysed financial performance, marketing strategies and census data.
BDO spokesman Pedro Daniel said the value of Brazilian clubs had increased 69 percent since 20009.
"This reflects the commercial potential that each club has," Daniel said."The increased value has coincided with more lucrative television contracts and aggressive marketing campaigns."
