CHANDIGARH: Assembly of California, Sacramento (USA) has felicitated Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal, Speaker Punjab Assembly for His Contribution in promoting the democratic values.

Disclosing this here today an official spokesman of Punjab Assembly said that the Speaker of California Assembly Mr. John A. Praze and Mr. Amardeep Singh Dhaliwal Mayor extended warm welcome and honoured Dr. Atwal for his lifelong contribution in promoting peace and universal brotherhood.

He said that Mr. John A. Praze also lauded the efforts of Dr. Atwal for contributing political and social sector with human values. Mr. Praze while honouring the Dr. Atwal commended the efforts of punjabi diaspora living in America for enriching American ethos with the value of tolerance, diligence and humanity.
