Punjab orders to expedite dismissal of absentee officers/employees

Chandigarh, August 4

The Punjab Government has asked all departments to submit consolidated quarterly reports regarding the absentee’s officers-employees in a week to expedite the removal/ dismissal process against them.

A spokesman of the Punjab Government today said that the Government has taken a very serious note of the unnecessary delay in disciplinary action against the absentee’s officers/employees. He said that it was imperative for the departments to take expeditious decision regarding their dismissal/removal or to demote them;  and the concerned administrative departments should submit consolidated  action taken quarterly reports till the 30 of every month, to be sent to Chief Secretary for proper monitoring of total exercise. The spokesman also said that it has been found that the reports received by Personal department directly from various offices were sketchy and also not according to the prescribed Performa.

The spokesman said that the Punjab Government has asked to all administrative departments to submit consolidated reports in a week with the personal department in this regard.

Improvement in govt status..well it need to be done and must be acquired in each sector.

Govt might do some enhancements in doing their work..but when it comes to development they lack their activities too..
