Model-turned-actress Nargis Fakhri, who made her Bollywood debut with "Rockstar", has been more in news for her alleged affairs than work which she says is very upsetting.
After the release of "Rockstar" (2011), Nargis did not take up any movie but still remained in the limelight for her link up rumours with Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Uday Chopra and businessman Ness Wadia.
Though she says its upsetting, the 33-year-old has decided to take such things with a pinch of salt.
"Its (rumors) not true and it makes things worse. Its upsetting and unfortunate. It was sad. I stopped reading newspapers. I started questioning other stories... All of it is true or not. I started going crazy. But I am no more sad now. I have learnt to understand that is the way it is. You can't stop it. You either cry over or not," Nargis said in an interview here.
Nargis feels everyone here (in the industry) knows how things are. She will be seen next in Shoojit Sircar's "Madras Cafe", where she is playing the role of a journalist. The film starring John Abraham as RAW agent releases on August 23.
Nargis is also doing David Dhawan's next film "Main Tera Hero" alongside Varun Dhawan and Ilena D'Cruz. She is yet to start shooting for it.
She also has the remake version of Basu Chatterjee's 1982 comedy film "Shaukeen" in her kitty. The "Rockstar" actress will play the part essayed by Rati Agnihotri in the yesteryear hit.
With this film, Nargis will finally be working with Akshay Kumar (who plays Mithun Chakraborty's character), after she apparently missed out on sharing screen space with him in "Khiladi 786" last year.
In the original, Mithun Chakraborty played the role of Rati's boyfriend. The remake will be directed by Rumi Jaffrey of "God Tussi Great Ho" fame.
