Bollywood hot actor John Abraham has to shed weight for his upcoming film “Madras Café”. The actor apparently was on a proper diet and worked carefully to appear perfect for his role of Kaushal, the Indian Intelligence Agent.

The film is a political-thrill directed by Shoojit. The plot moves around the civil war and terrorist deals. Some parts of the film were shot in India and Sri Lanka.

The director of the movie, in an interview said, “I said John to lose weight for the movie and he did. If he is standing in a crowd he shouldn’t stand out. He should look as one of them. John is not at all the hero of the film. The heroism of the movie is the target and not the John,”. Shoojit appreciated his hard work and further added, “You will watch a new John.”

Sircar directed John’s Vicky Donor and now they are sharing a good relationship. If gossips are believed, they will shortly start working on one more project.

When the director is asked to comment on the relationship, he said, “Now we are really good friends with a good relation. We are planning further for more films. We want to take this relation ahead. He never obstructs my work and the same vice versa. I don’t know much marketing. Thus he takes care of it,”.
