After testing the physical and mental strength of 14 celebrities in a ten week long journey in various eye-catching locations of Cape Town, actor Ashish Chowdhry was declared as the winner of stunt-based reality TV showKhatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns.
The 36-year-old, who decided to go on the adventurous journey at the time when his twin daughters --Salara and Sammah - were just 15-days-old, says his daughter proved out to be lucky for him because of which he went on to win the show.
Apart from the Khatron Ke Khiladi trophy, Ashish also won cash prize of 25 lakh rupees and a Mahindra Scorpio car.
Ashish, who was competing against actors Iqbal Khan and Sagarika Ghatge and multi-faceted Meiyang Chang, in the finale, never got into an elimination stunt and stood out as a "clear" winner of the show.
Hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, other celebrities, who were a part of the show included actors Hussain Kuwajerwala, Harshad Arora, Sana Khan, Rasami Desai, Asha Negi, Ridhi Dogra and Nandish Sandhu, the multi-faceted Meiyang Chang, Kabaddi star Rakesh Kumar, reality show star Siddharth Bharadwaj, dancer Salman Yusuff Khan and item girl Nathalia Kaur.
The grand finale of the Colors show embarked in a proper Rohit Shetty style where the four finalists were asked to blast a car in a stunt named after the "Chennai Express" director.
Ashish and Chang were announced as the winner of the first stunt and went on to compete in the final stunt, titled "The Final Blast", where Ashish was declared as the winner.
Co-judged by Karan Johar, Kirron Kher and Malaika Arora Khan, the sixth season of India's Got Talent, which replacesKhatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns, is all set to start on April 1
