As the southern superstar is here in the city shooting for his next Tamil film, I suggest him 5 ways he can actually make his stay in Mumbai more productive

With films being remade left, right and center, and the actors juggling projects between different film industries, the differences between Bollywood and South Indian film industries is fast diminishing. With Sunny Leone shaking her leg in Tamil film to Dhanush making heads turn in Bollywood, the new age cinema has made sure that the not only these different industries co-exist but also thrive together.

As we all know that there is great excitement in B-town over Tamil super star Suriya visiting the tinsel town of Mumbai for shooting his next film 24,  I decided to plan some fun and productive stuff for Suriya to do during his stay in the city. So Suriya, if you are wondering how to interact with your Bollywood counterparts, here are some things which you could do to make your presence felt in B-town:

Attend Ranveer Singh’s party

The crazy star Ranveer Singh is just out of a surgery and has been adviced to take bed rest by the doctors, But Ranveer being Ranveer, has thrown caution to the wind and has planned to throw a Dil Dhadakne Do party along with Anil Kapoor. Attending this party will be a great chance for Suriya to meet who’s who of Bollywood and get acquainted with noted filmmakers. And who knows, considering Suriya’s good looks and great physique, he might land into a Hindi film. Also given Anil Kapoor’s, ahem, Hollywood connections, it would be a treat to watch Ranveer, Anil and Suriya pose together representing Hollywood, Bollywood and Kollywood respectively.

Pitch Singham 3 idea to Ajay Devgn

Given that Suriya was the hero of the Tamil film Singam from which Rohit Shetty’s Singham was remade, it is said Rohit, Ajay and Suriya share a close friendship. Now that Mr Shetty is busy with Dilwale in Goa, Suriya could catch up with Ajay and have serious discussions about expanding the Singham series. Also, since Suriya is starring in Singam 3, he could insert the germ of making the third installment of Singham series in Ajay’s mind. Now I don’t know if that’s a good or bad news for viewers, but that’s certainly bad news for Scorpios.

Learn some Bhaigiri from Sanjay Dutt

Suriya’s last film Anjaan, where he played Raju Bhai, the dreaded don of Mumbai, tanked at the box office and many criticised the actor for not looking the part. In fact being a Mumbai ka Dada, the only Hindi his henchmen ever spoke was ‘ Raju nai…Raju Bhai bolo’, which was later ridiculed to great extent. I suggest that before Suriya tries his hand in another gangster film, he should definitely pay a visit to Yerwada jail to meet, Sanjay Dutt, the don of all seasons. Sanju baba has played all kinds of don in Hindi cinema over the span of last two decades and he has enough knowledge on how to be a Bhai onscreen,  that  he could  to impart some Bhaigiri knowledge on Suriya.

Learn to groove like Shahid Kapoor in Gandi Baat

Just couple of days ago, we had reported that Suriya has brought the copyrights of Shahid Kapoor’s Gandi Baat song from R…Rajkumar and is planning to use it in his next film Masss. Now that Suriya is in Mumbai, it would be wise if he met Sasha and learnt how to groove like the master in his unique style. While I am not sure if Shahid could actually teach Suriya some Hindi, but I am pretty sure Sasha would happily share his secrets for dirty dancing.
