April 07, 2015 01:34 PM
Kamal Haasan and controversies go hand-in-hand as almost all his films will be mired with some issues and later he has to find some way to release them.

The latest to join in the list is Uttama Villain as Vishwa Hindu Parishad has requested to ban the film because one song in the film is hurting the sentiments of Hindu religion and its followers.
KL Sathyamoorthi of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other members of the outfit came to commissioner office on Monday ( April 6) and filed a complaint against the film, also pressed a ban on Uttama Villain.

According to the members of VHP, Kamal Haasan insulted Hindus' sentiments through the ‘Iraniyan song’ and hence they are requesting a ban.

Uttama Villain which was earlier scheduled on April 10 has been postponed and the tentative date given by the trade sources is April 24 or May 1.
