Just a few minutes back, we confirmed about Parth Samthaan aka Manik quitting Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan. Media reports suggest that Arjit Taneja who plays Purab on Kumkum Bhagya has been approached for the lead role of Manik.

A source close to Arjit claims, “Actually I have no clue about this as yet I don’t even know if it is true. But he has been shooting continuously for Kumkum Bhagya, and has not yet mentioned anything about doing Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan.

We are good friends and if something like that was happening, he would have told me. I don’t think he is doing Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan and even if he is doing the show, Arjit won’t quit Kumkum Bhagya. There is a lot of interesting plot coming up in the show and he isn’t going anywhere. I will hit him if he leaves. On a serious note, if he does take it up, I don’t think Balaji Telefilms will have a problem; they are very understanding and will happily let him do the other show as well.”

We tried to get in touch with Arjit to find out more about this rumour, but the actor’s phone was continuously unavailable. Parth Samthaan, who has been playing Manik in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaanhas been doing a fabulous job. Ever since the story of the actor quitting the show has gone viral, his fans have taken to social networking sites to express their displeasure in his decision.
