March 16, 2015 04:06 PM

Gulshan Devaiah-Sai Tamhankar-Radhika Apte starrer is going to fight it out with the Divyendu Sharma-Ira Dubey starrer-Jackie Shroff starrer. Both films are low on budget, but high on content. Which one should you watch? Which one you shouldn’t? Read on to find out…

Hunterrr

Director: Hashavardhan Kulkarni

Star cast: Gulshan Devaiah, Radhika Apte, Sai Tamhankar, Sagar Deshmukh, Veera Saxena, Rachel D’Souza

Synopsis: The film revolves around an unassuming sex addict and his lustful journey in life. The sex addict is played by Gulshan, who portrays the character of Vaasu. The film revolves around his sexual escapades and how he manages to make women fall for him. Also the three ladies in the film are not just the hapless preys of the Vaasu. They are shikaris in their own right. Amidst all this, there is subtle and underlying comedy. The film is not a sex comedy and its rather a comedy about a guy who loves having sex.

Why should you watch: The film has been in the making for a long time. However, the film’s content seems to be very good. After all Anurag Kashyap won’t back just about any film. Also, the songs have been doing really well on the music charts. A bit of controversy attached to the film has got it even more promotion. Should be a fun watch because this subject hasn’t been touched before.

Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend

Director: Japinder Kaur

Star cast: Divyendu Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Prachi Mishra, Ira Dubey, Pradhuman Singh, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Natalia Kapchuk

Synopsis: Dhruv (Divyendu Sharma) an aspirant IAS officer, takes a private loan from a company in order to buy a car in order to woo the girl he loves, Sakshi (Prachi Mishra). Soon enough, life turns upside down for him as he is unable to pay back the loan and the car is seized. From then on, begins Dhruv’s encounters with today’s super materialistic girls (where money comes above love), the finance company, the system and a hardened criminal named Minocha (Jackie Shroff).

Why should you watch: Being low on budget and high on content, this film is likely to hit the nail at the proper place. Audiences love watching satires and this seems to be another one on the socio-politico mafia in and around Gurgaon—a story plot which is generally loved by most people. Plus there is a cameo by the youth heartthrob Yo Yo Honey Singh.
