Not so long ago Divyanka Tripathi, who essays the role of Ishita in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein called off her seven-year-old relationship with long time beau Ssharad Malhotra. The couple even confirmed the news by issuing a joint statement to the media. And now another TV couple has parted ways, we are told. Yes, Divyanka’s co-star Karan Patel, who plays Raman Bhalla in YHM has broken up with Kamya Punjabi to marry Ankita Bhargava, who was dating Aman Varma at one point.

Confirming the news, Karan in a chat with a tabloid said, “Yes, Ankita and I are getting married and this is a new chapter in my life. I am looking forward to it without a doubt, can’t wait, she is a beautiful girl, a friend more than that my ‘would be’ wife.”

So why did Karan and Kamya break-up, after all? Well, Kamya, as we all know was married to Bunty Negi. The two even had a daughter. However, this marriage hit a rocky patch after which Kamya and Karan started dating. But Karan’s parents apparently weren’t happy with the idea of their son marrying someone who has had a broken marriage and already has a child, which is why their relationship came to an end.
