The always stylish PC failed to make the mark this time around. The picture says it all, doesn’t it?

Hundreds gloat about the fact that Sonam Kapoor is one of the leading fashion icons in India. While I agree with the same, I also believe that Priyanka Chopracomes close to stealing Sonam’s ‘fashionista’ tag quite often, courtesy her trendy outfits. I have been a fan of PC’s recent turnouts be it her Gauri and Nainika pink outfit or Falguni and Shane Peacock black thigh high slit one. But with the white Elena Perseil number, the actress has surely hit rock bottom!PC turned up wearing the same at the recently held pre Filmfare Awards party and my first reaction was , WTF? Not only is the hem of the gown failing to do justice to the hottie’s drool worthy bod, but the hood on the same looks odd and strange!

The Mary Kom fame wore the attire with dusky make up, which instead of coming across as refreshing, made her look dull and lifeless. I believe PC has overdone her signature style red lips and hence I believed the nude shade she wore would make me happy. Instead, I’m left thinking that she should have sported those red lips after all! The curled up side bob was the only part I found appealing from PC’s appearance. Coming to the silver Louboutins , the Bajirao Mastani actress wore them with her pop orange Toni Maticevski outfit as well and I wish she could have sported a different footwear.

Had PC’s gown been a better fitting one, minus the hood, it would have looked stunning on her. She could have chosen golden block heels to wear with the attire and a darker shade of brown on the lips. Better luck next time, Ms Chopra!
