Amitabh Bachchan has previously played the role of an alcoholic in a number of films like ‘Sharaabi’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Black’ and ‘Hum’.

However, all those acts were done when the he was comparatively quite young. 72 year old megastar has done it again in the upcoming film ‘Shamitabh’ enacting the character of a drunkard despite of the fact that not many know that he is a non-alcoholic person. 

R. Balki, the director of the film was speechless with Big B’s natural acting skills of acting drunk when he did not even take a single sip. He further said that Big B is simply amazing, and also it is unbelievable to know that he was sober throughout! 

Amitabh’s drunkard act in ‘Shamitabh’ is completely different when compared with his previous films. He has shown different variety of drunkards in all his films and in ‘Shamitabh’ he has done it again showing another kind of alcoholism. R. Balki startlingly wonders how has Big B known so many kinds of drunkards without actually drinking a drop. It is a mystery that he needs to solve.
