Sanjay Gupta’s next directorial venture Jazbaa has been in the news for a long time now and it surprising because it will mark Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s return on the silver screen after five long years. Co-starring Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Siddhanth Kapoor, the film was all set to roll this month. However, there is change in plan as Khan recently underwent a minor surgery and has been advised complete bed rest for few days. The Lunchbox actor was suffering from chronic backache and had to finally get operated for the same. While the shooting of Aishwarya’s comeback film has been postponed, the script reading session will take place pretty soon.
While talking to a leading tabloid, Gupta confirmed the news about his film’s shooting being delayed and said, “Yes, Irrfan has undergone a minor surgery and has been advised bed rest. His recovery is my priority and the shoot shall commence once he is fit. I can’t say anything about the exact date of the shoot but the script reading will definitely take place on Tuesday.”
Jazbaa is one of the most-awaiting films of this year but with shooting schedule going haywire wethinks it will be tough for the makers to wrap up the film in time!
