MTV’s Fanaah – a show about vampires and werewolves- launched season one starring Rithvik Dhanjani, Ratan Rajput, Anita Hassanandani and Karan Kundra.The first season was shut down abruptly due to unavailability of actors but they promised to come back with a new season.

The makers came with Season 2, which obviously still has Karan Kundra in it, but it seems the actor is no longer interested in continuing with the show. In his defence, when queried about this, he claims that his contract for Fanaah ended on December 16, 2014. The show was supposed to be a finite series. Now that he has signed up for MTV Roadies, he has no time left for Fanaah 2.

In addition to all that, Kundra is also busy shooting for his Bollywood projects, work for which will start very soon. With so much already on his plate, the actor clearly doesn’t wish to continue with Fanaah 2. Frankly, we believe Kundra has fulfilled his side of the agreement. As long as his contract stipulated, the actor worked on the show. Now that he does not wish to renew his contract, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Every actor should have the liberty to move on, right?
