Shah Rukh Khan- Fan
After giving a blockbuster like Happy New Year, SRK gears up for YRF’s next, Fan. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film is said to pay an ode to all you million fans with SRK playing a fan himself. And if that isn’t enough, Fan also boasts a new couple of Shah Rukh and Ileana D’Cruz! So watch out for this blockbuster during Eid, 2015.
Salman Khan- Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Salman has 2 masterstrokes in store. The first one hits with Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan during Eid 2015. It stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and binds a romantic relationship between a Muslim man and a Brahmin woman. Whereas, the second film is Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which stars Salman in a double role and co-stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead. Prem Ratan aims to release around Diwali, 2015.
Saif Ali Khan- Phantom
After a debacle like Humshakals, Saif is gearing up to hit back with Kabir Khan’s Phantom. Co-starring Katrina Kaif, the film deals with counter-terrorism take on 26/11 Mumbai attacks. It involves a lot of action and is slated for a 3rd April release.
Akshay Kumar- Baby, Gabbar, Brothers
Action Khiladi Akshay Kumar unfolds three films- Baby, Gabbar and Brothers. With Baby, he has reunited with Special 26 director Neeraj Pandey to give out an action packed thriller. Gabbar is a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film that stars Shruti Hassan in the lead. Whereas Brothers is a Dharma Production that boasts a stellar cast of Akshay, Siddharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez. While Baby hits the theatres on Jan 19th, Gabbar will come across on 3rd April and Brothers will only roll out on the 31st of July, 2015.
Amitabh Bachchan- Shamitabh, Piku, Wazir
Big B contends in this league by offering 3 films- Shamitabh, Piku and Wazir. Shamitabh is an interesting plot by R. Balki and co-stars Dhanush and Kamal Hassan’s daughter, Akshara in lead roles. Big B has got a rugged look for this one and plays a pivotal role to make his way on Feb, this year.
Then we have Shoojit Sircar’s Piku that stars Deepika Padukone. The film narrates a beautiful father-daughter relationship between Big B and Deepika and is heading for a 30th April release.
And lastly to conclude, it’s Bejoy Nambiar’s Wazir. Co-starring Farhan Akhtar, the film is a captivating story of a paralysed chess master Amitabh and ATS officer, Farhan.
You wouldn’t find Aamir Khan in this list because he has taken an off throughout 2015. No films, so maybe you could watch his PK again! Wink, wink!
