Deepika, Aamir And Karan Speak About Today’s India Cinema

In a summit which was held recently, actors Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone along with director-producer Karan Johar, spoke about the changes and transformations that the Indian Cinema of today is undergoing with. 

Aamir spoke about the trend of buying editorial spaces to get positive reviews for the films and also about the 100cr club. He said that the filmmakers and actors are only selecting scripts which boast access in the 100cr club. The emphasis is only on the box-office collections. 

Otherwise, all the three, Aamir, Deepika and Karan talked about and pointed at those number of shifts and changes that they have faced in the Indian Cinema since the 80’s and the 90’s. The whole definition of mainstream cinema has changed and it’s only widening now.
