But as soon as the DJ started playing the song Chikni chameli, the Being Human star called his ex-flame Katrina Kaif on the stage. However, the leggy lass wasn’t up for it and she tried to hide behind Karan Johar. That’s when Salman said, “Karan please come here, and bring Katrina Kaif on stage.” Sadly this didn’t help either. So the Bajrangi Bhaijaan went ahead and said, “Ok fine, not Katrina Kaif. Katrina Kapoor, please come on stage.”

While Kat was embarrassed by now, Salman continued to poke fun and further said, “Mai kya karoon… I gave you a chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be ‘Katrina Kapoor’.” Though all this happened in Hyderabad, the Bang Bang heroine’s current boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor came to know about all this the very same day. And the Rockstar actor took Dabangg Khan’s comment in the right spirit. We hear Jr Kapoor wasn’t upset or miffed. Instead he laughed off and was quite amused hearing the whole episode.
