composer Pritam who has been in news for his digital debut with #fame
‘Websinger’, is extremely excited about this new chapter in his
career. The renowned music director who has given us singers like
Arijit Singh, Benny Dayal, Nikhil D’souza and more shared his
excitement, “I really feel that new singers give songs a freshness on
account of their voice, it is amazing how much the texture of their
voice brings to a song,” said the maestro.



Since he has already given Bollywood so many new voices one would
wonder if there is anything specific he has on mind for this new lot
of singers, he is about to unleash, “The concept of the competition is
to have singers from all across singing my songs, in their own version
be it an unplugged version or anything else they are comfortable with
and then judging them on how they have drawn on the emotions and
ofcourse, the quality of the voice,” explained Pritam. Further
elaborating on the completion he stated, “in today’s day and age with
technology there are many ways to enhance the quality of the song,
even fine tune the singing but what the singer’s voice brings to the
song no technology can manage! Like for instance, Nikhil D’souza,
thanks to his diction changes the quality of the song completely, each
singer comes with their own strengths and differences, which adds to
the experience and the song,” exclaimed Pritam.



Pritam who will be judging the initial round of the competition has
certainly raised the bar of expectations from us the audience.
