Member of Parliament Patrick Brown announces funding for Veterans Appreciation Luncheon

Patrick Brown, Member of Parliament for Barrie, today announced Government of Canada funding for a luncheon to honour Veterans at the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Club. MP Brown made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs.

Superior Home Health Care will host tomorrow’s event for Veterans from across the Simcoe region.

• Superior Home Health Care is receiving $1,885 through Veterans Affairs Canada’s Community Engagement Partnership Fund for the Veterans Appreciation Luncheon.
• The Veterans Appreciation Luncheon will take place on November 5.
• Since 2006, the Government of Canada has approved more than $13 million through the Community Engagement Partnership Fund for projects that recognize traditional and modern-day Canadian Veterans and those who died in service.
