Suriya has expressed his support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Clean India Campaign – which aims for a cleaner India by the year 2019. Modi had invited 9 people including actors Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra to join him on his mission.
Suriya has endorsed PM’s views. The actor is a social crusader who does a lot of good work through his Agaram Foundation and has recently taken up the new My Tree Initiative.
The dedicated actor said : “Hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness are the need of the hour. Keeping ourselves, our homes and our neighbourhood clean doesn’t cost us anything. It helps every one of
us.”
Suriya also said: “ Passing on wealth to children is important , but giving them a clean environment to live is even more important.”
