Due to financial differences with the filmmaker, Kajol would not be acting in her comeback film which certainly was an eye opener for all her eagerly waiting fans.

It was reported that Kajol will be coming back on the silver screen; however that news has faded away, as Kajol has denied the offer. 

An insider of the industry reported that that deal has fallen through because of financial differences, even when the film was co-produced by her husband Ajay Devgan. As a matter of fact, the film was to hit the floors from October onwards this year, but with Kajol disapproving the untitled film, Ram Madhvani, who was directing the movie, is now busy searching for a new leading actress for his film. And apparently, a lot of actors are keen to star in Ram Madhvani’s film and have even approached him; nonetheless, the actor is yet to confirm his casting of the film. 

The film will be an adaptation of Norwegian television thriller ‘Penoza’.
