Air India asked give compensation to man for loss of baggage

Air India has been asked by a consumer forum here to pay compensation to a man, who lost his baggage at airport, saying the airline caused "extreme mental agony" due to its "deficiency in action and gross negligence".

 

The New Delhi District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, presided by C K Chaturvedi, asked the airline to pay Rs 50,000 to Punjab resident Manish Sharma for the "extreme mental agony, humiliation, inconveniences, loss of baggages due to negligence, physical discomfort".
