Brantford, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $11,500 through the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage program to support the 7th edition of the Brantford International Jazz Festival.

The festival, which features local, national, and international jazz performers, will take place in Brantford from September 12 to 14, 2014.

Phil McColeman, Member of Parliament (Brant), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

Quick Facts

• Local, national, and international performers representing a variety of jazz styles will be showcased on stages in and around Harmony Square in Downtown Brantford.
• Each year, the festival features local and regional performers on the Local Stage.
• Young and emerging jazz performers are also given an opportunity to share their talents on the festival’s Next Generation Stage.
