It’s that time of the year, when people repaint the walls, decorate their homes and make lots of modaks – Yes Ganesh Chaturthi is here and like everyone television’s popular stars are also taking time off to welcome Ganesha

Every year, we whisper a secret wish into the ears of Lord Ganesha and pray that he fulfills them. BollywoodLife got busy and decided to ask celebrities what’s on their wishlist this Ganeshotsav.

Shashank Vyas: I wish that Lord Ganesha gives me strength, peace of mind, positive energy and takes away laziness from me. If my health is well then everything will fall in place. This year on Ganesh Chatruti I will be visiting Lalbhaug Ka Raja once and will also make time to visit friends, who are celebrating the festival like me. Ganpati bappa is my most favourite god. I feel blessed about this.

Sambhavna Seth: I wish more and more work, settlement in life and I wish to buy a new property. This will be the tenth year that I am getting Ganesha home. Like every year, this year will be special for me. My Ganesha idol is pearly white in colour and he is like a brother to me. I have been getting the Ganesha idol home since 2004 during my struggling days. I used to live in a rented apartment then; whatever I am today is all because of Ganesha, he has given me everything in my life.

Ankit Gera: I pray for everyone’s happiness. I wish that Ganesha keeps coming to my place every year and showers his blessings on us. Lord Ganesha is like my mentor he guides me in life to take the right path.

Shivin Narang: I wish Lord Ganesha to make me a better human being. I will go to visit few Ganesh pandals and visit a few friends’ places. I feel that ganesha is my mentor guides me.

Sahil Phull: Ganpati bappa is a friend to me. I talk to him whenever I feel like. I wish he gives great health and immense happiness to my family and friends. As for my career, I wish and dream to sign a three-film contract with YRF.

Rashami Desai: I don’t get Ganpati at home. But I do visit pandals and go to my friends’ houses. This year I will ask Ganesha for good health and a great career ahead. I hope he continues to shower his blessings on me. The way Ganpati is celebrated in Mumbai is remarkable You won’t find this spirit anywhere.
