Aditya Chopra argues with censor board for Mardaani

August 18, 2014 08:45 PM

Censor Board of Film Certification has given Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mardaani’ an ‘A’certificate, but it is learnt that Aditya Chopra, the producer of the film argued with the members of censor board for a ‘U/A’ certificate.

However, the censor board members didn’t change their decision. It is also learnt that there are some scenes which the censor board members told Aditya to delete from the film, but Aditya wanted that scenes as they were relevant for the film. Apparently, he argued for few minutes with the members of censor board, but finally had to do what they wanted.

‘Mardaani’ is YRF’s boldest film ever and it will be releasing on 22nd Aug.
