Deepika Padukone is on one hell of a tight schedule. After launching Fanny Re from her film opposite Arjun Kapoor, Finding Fanny Deepika went to launching the highly awaited Happy New Year trailer. From there she went straight to attend Ritesh Sidhwani’s star-studded birthday bash.

While the rest of her Happy New Year team is now busy with promotions and interviews, this leggy dame is off to kick-start a new project. Yes! Deepika has flown off to Kolkata start shooting for Piku which also stars Irrfan Khan.

The Shooji Sircar film mainly focuses on a father-daughter relationship and Amitabh Bachchan will be playing DP’s on-screen daddy. Irrfan plays Deepika’s love interest in the film. With that very intriguing plot Piku has us hooked for more.

Well we hope that Deepika comes back in time to promote Happy New Year as fervently as the rest of the Team India!
