1) Not many known that Madhubala started working at the age of nine and in her childhood days her screen name was Mumtaz, which was her real name.
2) Madhubala was born and brought up in a very orthodox family and her father was very strict with her. She was not allowed to go out for premieres or any parties. The actress also didn’t have any friends. She only came out of her house for the shooting of her films.
3) The reason behind her father’s strictness was that Madhubala was extremely beautiful and her father didn’t want anyone to come close to her. He use to even accompany her on the sets of the film.

6) Madhubala and Dilip Kumar were in love with each other, but her father disagreed to the relationship and their love ended.
