4 days to go for the Happy New Year trailer launch…

Farah Khan‘s Happy New Year has been in the making for the most part of this year. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah, this film has created a huge buzz since a long time. The much awaited trailer is set to release eight days from now, on August 14. And here are 4 most iconic roles of one of the lead character Boman Irani:

Jolly LLB: Boman played the role of a high profile lawyer, who is trying to defend a criminal. He is given a taste of what good people with noble intentions can do when then get down to business with nothing to lose. Opposite Boman was Arshad Warsi who played the good lawyer with aplomb.

3 Idiots: Boman played the role of the college principle where Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan had gone to finish their graduation in engineering. The character was so loved by audiences that Boman till date gets compliments for his portrayal of Viru Sahasrabuddhi. Boman won many an awards for this iconic role.

Lage Raho Munnabhai: Boman played the role of a Sardar property dealer. He played the cunning guy who tried to evict some old age home people just to get their plot. But Sanjay Dutt and Arshad as Munnabhai and Circuit come in their path and give Boman’s character a taste of Gandhigiri.

Munnabhai MBBS: Boman played the role of a bald doctor and HOD for the department of medical sciences. He was a very strict disciplinarian and never gave in to any qualms of the patients. That’s when Sanjay and Arshad come in as Munnabhai and Circuit and give him a Jaadu Ki Jhappi and teach him an important lesson for life.
