Quotes
“This unique, multi-faceted approach to commemoration will increase Canadians’ knowledge and awareness of the importance of the Canadian Armed Forces and their rich, proud history of defending Canada at home and abroad. As we prepare to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017, commemorations like these will encourage Canadians to understand more about our history, especially about the First and Second World War, and reaffirm our pride in our achievements.”
