All the speculations came to end when we exclusively told you that Salman Khan has been confirmed to host the upcoming eighth season of Bigg Boss. But let us tell you that it wasn’t a cakewalk for the makers of the reality show to get the Dabangg Khan on-board.

Reportedly a change in fee and schedule finally persuaded Salman to host Bigg Boss 8. Apparently, after Kick, Salman presented the channel and production house with his new remuneration. And they unanimously agreed to hike his fees by 30 percent, thereby, bringing the actor’s remuneration to Rs 8.5 crore per week, which would make Salman the highest paid actor on Indian television.

And coming to the schedule, we have already told you that Bigg Boss 8 will hit the television screens in August instead of October this year. The makers are going to make an official announcement by the end of this week, we hear.
