There are a number of publications and media houses, who had recently come up with news suggesting that actress Rani Mukerji was expecting a child. 

The actress recently visited the ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ sets, and after arriving late for the same, she gave a reason saying she visited a doctor as she was suffering from flu and hence she could not make to the show on time. Well, taking cue of this, the media started reporting about the actress’s pregnancy. 

Rubbishing all the rumors, the actress’s PR released a statement saying, “We were astonished to know of false information doing the rounds on Ms Mukerji. She is suffering from a severe case of viral fever and with great difficulty she went ahead with her prior commitment to visit the sets of Jhalak dikhla jaa as part of promotions of Mardaani and completed all that was required of her on set. Her sheer professionalism is what made it possible for her to shoot. Request you to not resort to unnecessary conjecture.”
