Montréal – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, on behalf of the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), today announced $175,000 in funding for Golf Canada. This funding, provided through Sport Canada’s Hosting Program, supports the hosting of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Canadian Open.
The 105th edition of the tournament will be held in Montréal, Quebec, from July 21 to 27, 2014.
