Raanjhanaa star who is currently busy with R Balki’s film shared his joy with Shamitabh cast and crew as his Tamil film has received a thunderous opening

After breaking into the national scene with his viral song Kolaveri Di, Dhanush has come a long way. Not only is the actor a reverred star down south, but has made his critics eat their shoes by storming into Bollywood with Raanjhaana. Now the terrific actor is sharing screen space with great Amitabh Bachchan in R Balki’s Shamitabh.

When he heard the news that his Tamil film Velai Illa Pattadhaari is garnering positive response, the over joyed actor shared his happiness with the Shamitabhteam. Dhanush posted a picture of him, Amitabh, Akshara Haasan, R Balki and cinematographer PC Sreeram, tweeting,” Celebrating the success of VIP with teamshamitabh. The cast and crew of Shamitabh celebrated VIP‘s success with Dhanush by cutting a cake. Dhanush desperately needed this hit as his last two films were duds at box office. Now, with VIPearning RS 5.18 crores at the box office on first day, Dhanush definitely has a reason to smile and celebrate.
