The producer-turned- director couldn’t attend the mahurat shoot of his upcoming venture Tamasha courtesy Sallu miyaan’s Kick

Sajid Nadiadwala is producing Imtiaz Ali’s next Tamasha which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead. While the film went on floors recently, we hear Sajid wasn’t present at the mahurat of the film. In fact, RK and the Highway director wanted Nadiadwala to be there at the special occasion however the latter just couldn’t make time for it. Apparently, the filmmaker is super busy with the post production of his directorial debut Kick which stars Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. A source from the production house said to a news website, “Sajid sir has spent more than 72 hours at a stretch inside the editing room. He is so caught up with Kick that he decided to skip flying to France.”

Though Sajid couldn’t zoom off to France for his film, we hear Imtiaz and Ranbir called him immediately after the mahurat shot was done. Awww that’s sweet na?

Maybe whatever happened is for the good coz we all know Sallu miyaan doesn’t share a great rapport with Jr Kapoor and even Dippy seems to have irked him by turning down Prem Ratn Dhan Payo.
