Charlottetown – Veterans Affairs Canada
The Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, today presented commendations to the following Prince Edward Island residents for their exemplary service to Veterans:
Through their volunteer efforts, these dedicated individuals have contributed to the well-being of Veterans in their communities by serving on committees and boards, planning and coordinating events, creating awareness of Veterans’ sacrifices and achievements, and providing care and comfort to Veterans.

- The Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation was created in 2001 by warrant of the Governor General and with the approval of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
