Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘weight’ issues

The Ek Villain actor is enjoying the success of his last release but has simultaneously started working for his next

Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Ek Villain received a great response at the box-office. And the actor is already busy preparing for his upcoming films. Sidharth will begin working for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Warriorand Vikramaditya Motwane’s next. For the remake of Warrior, Sidharth has to gain some bulk. After gaining weight, the SOTY actor has to lose weight for Motwane’s next!

Sidharth told a daily, “Yes, there will be various weight training programs for both the films. It will be an interesting year. They are both very distinctly different projects, and they will be good follow-ups.” The Ek Villain actor has started training for Warrior remake. He said, “I need to gain weight for it and become the biggest person I can be. So, my agenda for the next six weeks is to eat a lot of food, drink and sleep. I am trying to gain loads of weight. Plus, I have to train in Martial Arts and Muay Thai, and put on muscle to acquire the look. It’s really exciting.”

As for his next with Vikramaditya, reports were that he will be playing a super hero in the film. To this, Sidharth said, “We are trying to create a different identity [for the protagonist]. Like Batman, my character doesn’t have any superhuman powers. But he is a ‘super’ hero.”
