Bollywood’s latest action thriller continues to take the box office by storm

Ek Villain starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh continues to have a blockbuster run at the box office. Yes, this romantic thriller has raked approximately Rs 81 crore nett at the Indian box office in first week. And looking at this rate, Mohit Suri, who has directed the film might just enter the 100 crore club yet again after Aashiqui 2 that starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha in lead roles.

Though Sidharth and Shraddha’s chemistry in the film have become the talk of the town, it is however, Riteish’s negative role as Rakesh that has made the masses go crazy due to which there is a boost in the income of the movie at the box office.

Ek Villain is in week two now and is facing competition from 2 films – Vidya Balan’s Bobby Jasoosand Armaan Jain’s Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. But going by the numbers, it’s likely that Ek Villaincollection will get affected massively as the film still holds a strong word of mouth.
