Bobby Jasoos has opened with a disappointing BO collections

Bobby Jasoos starring Vidya Balan in lead role has started with a poor box office collection. The film has earned only Rs 1.78 crores on it’s first day at the Indian box office. After having a low occupancy in the morning shows, the film did not pick up much in the evening and night too. And there are multiple reasons behind the disappointing first day collections of the movie.

First, of course is the critics ratings. Bobby Jasoos, which has been produced by Dia Mirza and her fiance Sahil Sangha received average ratings from the critics due to which it couldn’t pull audiences to the theatres on first day.

Secondly, the film still faces a tough competition from the previous week’s releaseEk Villain, which not only has a better screen count but has also received fantastic reviews from both critics and masses alike. Sidharth Malhotra-Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer is shining at the BO and…how!

Also Armaan Jain’s debut film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil has released with Bobby Jasoos due to which the occupancy in theatres got distributed.

The ongoing Ramzan might even be one of the reason for the film to fare poorly in the evening and night shows.

Well, the only thing that can save Bobby Jasoos is a decent word of mouth publicity for it to pick up on Saturday and Sunday.
