Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7: Akshat Singh’s MJ act impresses judge Remo D’souza!

June 30, 2014 07:39 AM

Remo D’souza embraced Akshat Singh after the performance

Akshat Singh along with his choreographer Vaishnavi floored everyone with their jaw dropping performance on a tribute to late singer Michael Jackson.

The duo received the Jhalak performance shoes along from Madhuri Dixit-Nene andKaran Johar  with a warm hug by judge Remo D’souza who is a huge MJ fan himself.

Here is a sneak peak of the good and the bad highlights of today’s episode.

The Good

Shakti and Shashank’s freaky jazz performance.

The duo put in a scintillating display of classy jazz. Shakti especially was looking hideously gorgeous as a sexy “chudail.” Their rendition of Ram Chahe Leela from Ramleela lit up the evening and added zing to their act.

Manish Paul and Ranvir Shorey very nearly stole the show with their hilariously failed attempts at a pole dance. Their would-be sexy show was an amusing break in an otherwise routine evening.

The Bad

Deepika Samson’s unimpressive attempt

Deepika Samson from Sasural Simar Ka made an appearance, but failed to impress. She came on stage and declared that she would love to be a part of Jhalak next year. However, in order to do so, she will have to improve on the skills she displayed.

Sophie Choudry and her ‘Mirchi’ act

Sophie Choudry and Manish Paul’s flirtatious banter resulted in him having to pretend to gobble up a plate full of hari Mirchi. The entire routine could have been done away with and didn’t add much to the show.
