Mallika Sherawat is back in the news and as always not for a good reason. Apparently, the Murder starlet was romantically involved with Hollywood actorAntonio Banderas for two years. And their torrid affair is said to be the reason why the 53-year-old actor and his wife Melanie Griffith ended up filing for divorce. In 2012, Ms Sherawat met Antonio at the Cannes Film Festival after which the duo got close while partying abroad on a luxury yacht. While Mallika burned the dance floor along with the Spanish actor, their close dance was captured on a video by the B-town beauty’s best friend and stylist Ivan Bitton. Later, the video got leaked however Ivan claimed he wasn’t the culprit. We hear Banderas was so awestruck by Mallika that he took her on romantic Spanish holiday as well. That’s not all! Reports claim that the Hisss actor had even met few of Antonio’s family members.

While Mallika is being blamed for Antonio’s marriage going kaput, the dusky beauty has an altogether a different story to present. While talking to a leading Hollywood entertainment website,The Myth babe said, “Antonio Banderas is a wonderful man, a great dancer and an acquaintance of mine. I did not go on any vacation with him, and I’m sorry he’s going through a divorce.”
