Yes, you read it right! Salman and Armaan have been in touch with each other for a very long time now. Not many are aware that Salman’s mother and Armaan’s grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor are best friends!

Armaan Jain who happens to be Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s cousin is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Illuminati Films and Eros International’s forthcoming venture Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. But years before the young son of Reema Jain ( Rishi Kapoor’s sister) decided to choose acting as his profession, none other than Salman Khan had spotted Armaan’s talent.

It was the Daabngg dude who first saw Armaan at Riddhima’s (Ranbir Kapoor’s sister) sangeet and predicted that he too would be a star one day. “I was practicing dance along with my brother Aadar and my friends for Riddhima Di’s sangeet, Salman bhai was also there chilling out with us.I was really fat and must have been close to 100 when Salman bhai spotted me,” recounts Armaan.

With a solid support from Salman Khan, Armaan is now excited about his first movie Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, which will be directed by Imtiaz Ali’s brother Arif Ali. In fact, Imtiaz was also spotted giving acting tips to the young lad. Imitiaz spoke to Armaan and even discussed finer details like how to face the camera and the art of acting in general.

Clearly, Armaan is a lucky chap! We are waiting to see if Sallu miyaan will mentor the young Kapoor dude in the days to come, just the way he promotes some other young turks!
