Now here comes another actor who might just take the crown ofMr Perfectionist from the 3 Idiots star

Bollywood is filled with stories of inspiration, characterizations and stars stepping into shoes of a common man, to live their experiences in life. While most of the time the real instances, are never captured, here’s a tale with a twist to it. Aamir Khan has been time and again heard in such stories, but this time it is our very own Rajkummar Rao who is in the same shoes.

Rajkummar, considered one of the finest actors of the present times, will next be seen in Hansal Mehta’s CityLights and he decided to be in the shoes of a poor common man for his role. He plays a daily wage worker and to get into this character, the actor posed as a commoner to experience the struggles of a common man in the dream city of Mumbai. In fact, what we hear is that Rajkummar posed as a menial worker and tried to look for jobs in Mumbai and went from door to door for the same. The footage of the same was captured with cameras from far away and has been added to the film too. “Rajkumar went looking for a job near Santacruz station and asked if he could get some work there but everyone denied and later he landed up at a construction site nearby. The contractor offered him to work at a wage of 100 rupees a day and he agreed to work. Rajkummar actually slogged and worked hard to earn that note of 100 rupees and this scene you will even see in the film,”said a source close to their production team.

Well, with so much hard work and commitment , we see the reason why Rajkummar Rao won the National Award. Wethinks such kind of dedication towards improving a character is generally associated with Aamir Khan, and that’s how he earned the tag of Mr Perfectionist
