Zed to teach “World Religions” at a Nevada community college

Washoe County Community Education, a collaborative venture of Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) and Washoe County School District, is offering class on “World Religions”, which is open to the public.

 

All are welcome to sign-up for “World Religions” (CR155C/18970), five sessions class taught from six to nine pm on Tuesdays, starting May six, at TMCC Meadowood Center, Room S300, 5270 Neil Road, Reno. Tuition is $169 with discount available for seniors.

 

Besides classical religions of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Baha’ism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto, Jainism, Zoroastrianism; it will also discuss Native American spirituality and Atheism. Well known religious statesman Rajan Zed will teach, with experts of various religions joining as guest speakers.
