While Rajinikanth was busy shooting for Kochadaiiyaan, his wife stood like a pillar behind him and their daughter Soundarya. 

Rajinikanth’s much-awaited Kochadaiiyaan has been delayed for a long time now. Hopefully, it will release next week. But while Rajini Sir was busy shooting for his film, we hear that his wife too played an important role for the film. What was her role, you ask? Well, Latha Rajinikanth says, “My role is to give a moral support to Soundarya, for whom this film has been a huge task, both physically and emotionally. I just stood behind my child.”

What more, she has even lent her voice for the number Manapennin Sathiyam. So how did she feel while crooning for that song? She told a popular daily, “When I was offered the track, I felt I might choke because the song was very emotional. It is an ‘I am with you’ type of song and the colloquial version of the sapthapadi (seven promises) in traditional Indian weddings. Of course, it rekindled a lot of memories. All these relationships start only with friendship, which transforms into affection and then respect, and finally, love, which seals the bond. Even my relationship with my husband began as a beautiful friendship.”
