Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird will hold a media teleconference on Friday, April 25, 2014, from Riga, Latvia, after he holds talks with his Latvian counterpart, Edgars Rinkēvičs.

Baird has spent the last week in Eastern and Central Europe, visiting the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and now Latvia. He has been discussing the current situation in Ukraine and ongoing Russian aggression.

Baird will continue his visit in Europe in Tallinn, Estonia, where he will attend the Free Online Coalition Conference on Monday, April 28, 2014, and hold bilateral talks with Estonia’s President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet.
