A Canadian Armed Forces member dies while off-duty in Tanzania

A member of Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Regina has died in hospital in Tanzania on April 21, 2014.

 

The crewman was en route to Canada for a scheduled leave period from the ship, which is currently sailing in the Indian Ocean. The circumstances surrounding this death are unknown at this time.
